VL-AMU™ 33/37 – Avari VL™ Air Master Unit

The VL-AMU™ 33/37 provides off-air interfacing to public safety donor base stations in a 1–3 band headend unit. It filters and amplifies RF signals up to 2W or 5W per band and supports P25, LMR, and LTE with channelized Class A operation, optical connectivity, Ethernet integration, and redundancy configurations. One AMU replaces up to 3 Class A channelized BDAs and headend media convertors, providing more compact integration for simple interfacing to alarm panels and battery backup systems. An AMU can connect to different donor sites for redundancy operation with automatic failover capability and supports multi-tier DAS system network configurations.
